My Story and Background

My path to becoming a therapist started in high school, when I joined a Peer Counseling program and took my first psychology class. I didn’t know it at the time, but that early experience helping classmates planted a seed that would eventually grow into a career I truly love.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent several years as an elementary school teacher. While I enjoyed working with young learners, I felt called to something deeper. So I followed that instinct and earned my degree in psychology from the University of Arizona—trading lesson plans for therapy sessions and diving into my lifelong passion for helping others.

My Unique Approach

I’ve been described as practical, optimistic, realistic, and (admittedly) a little hard on myself. But the word I value most? Patient.

In therapy, I meet each client exactly where they are. I stay curious, ask thoughtful questions, and help uncover strengths that may have been hidden by stress, anxiety, or life transitions. From there, we collaborate on realistic, doable strategies that support meaningful change—without overwhelming the process.

More About Me

I’m a sunshine-lover at heart—bright skies make me happy! When I’m not in session, you’ll probably find me exploring new ways to learn and grow. I attend advanced trainings regularly and am passionate about continuing to expand my knowledge and tools as a therapist.

But more than anything, I’m grateful for the work I get to do every day. It’s a privilege to witness people’s internal healing process, and I consider it an honor to walk alongside my clients as they reclaim peace, joy, and confidence.
