Meet Stacy

“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”– Mary Oliver

Hi! I am Stacy Perich. I love to help people with a variety of struggles, including anxiety and depression. I love to be of service to anyone interested in getting help, someone who needs to tell their story, or who needs help figuring out the next steps.

For more than 2 decades, I have been helping those who need to find hope and healing. Clients have told me I am “the Hope Broker,” which always makes me smile.

Since I was young, I have been interested in learning about human nature. It is incredible how the mind works and how we have such a great capacity to learn, heal, and grow throughout our lifespan. Recognizing and leveraging our strengths and skills to reach our potential helps us live more fulfilling lives. (Forgive me – I tend to geek out on this stuff, but I love what I do!)

How I work

One of the things I think we could all use is more time and attention explicitly devoted to us. I aim to provide that uninterrupted time for each client, so they feel heard, respected, and cared for. From there, I want to help so that challenges are more manageable, successes are celebrated, and skills are developed for use when needed. Honestly, where do we get that uninterrupted time from someone willing to understand our hurts and help us through? For me, to be that caring person for another is incredibly rewarding. The delightful outcome is clarity, confidence, and renewed energy for the client!

I think that sometimes a laugh together can keep us going, so I love to bring in my lighthearted playfulness as we work together.

At the end of our work together, I hope my clients feel optimistic about their future, confident in their lives, and generally refreshed.

More About Me

I love being out in the sunshine. I like kayaking in the ocean, long walks, and exploring new places. Besides California, I lived in Colorado and hiked a lot of mountains.

I think my biggest personal challenge is being a bit hard on myself. I do work on it and am much easier and self-compassion than in the early days. Although, when I think about it, this challenge for me is a gift as I can see the pain it causes in others and can help develop ways through.
