“Do what you can with what you have where you are” – Theodore Roosevelt.
Hi! My name is Natalie, and I devote my professional life to helping people who want to feel better but don’t know how to do so. In my informal, comforting atmosphere, my clients feel accepted and not judged at all. It sounds corny, but it is true: every client is very special to me.
How I help
You are not going to get a stuffy academic therapist when working with me. I tend to be pretty informal and very reliable. This makes many clients feel at ease and comfortable enough to explore the issues that get in their way. I also tend to be very practical and goal-oriented, so we move pretty quickly from not feeling good to finding ways to feel better.
I believe it is such an honor to be a part of the journey as people become more at ease with their relationships with others and with themselves. I’m known as a quick thinker and for being mindful, considerate, and creating hope. At the same time, I’ll be honest – I am a bit hard on myself at times. But I am working on that!
More About Me
I am a first-generation from Sweden and am a dual citizen. I was raised primarily by my mother, who was also a social worker. I have always been the one that my friends came to when they had problems. I loved to listen and help them and got such joy when they felt better. I knew I needed to help people as a career.
I love music and writing too. In college, I wrote for a nonprofit music site finding underrated bands. (Wonder where some of them are now?)
Food is a passion; I am a huge foodie. I also adore hot yoga, Netflix, and hiking. This year I’ve set a goal to travel more. Hopefully, that will be easy to do!
